MM… DANZARTISTA DI STRADA

A dancer moves through urban spaces, interacting with the audience and sharing the joy of free movement and classical dance vocabulary.

The performance draws inspiration from a 2018 work created for the theatre, entitled millimetro cubo (cubic millimetre): the story of a person who loses their way and finds themselves again in the body of a tiny Lego character. The character explores balance, the possibilities of movement, time and speed. From their perspective, the surrounding world appears ideally much larger, allowing them to perceive the tiniest details. Through the act of observing the space that welcomes her and the people who appear within it, unexpected images and words often emerge—ones never explored before—which intertwine with a choreographic score. In this context, whatever first catches the dancer’s attention, be it a colour, a shape or a line, is reworked and released into the space through bodily movement. This process stems from the individual’s capacity for association and cognitive processing, both as a citizen and as a unique human being.

Una ballerina si muove nello spazio urbano, interagendo con il pubblico, condividendo il piacere per la danza libera e il codice classico.

La performance prende le mossa da un lavoro del 2018 presentato nello spazio teatrale dal titolo “millimetro cubo”, la 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖 𝙙𝙞 𝙪𝙣𝙖 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖 𝙘𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙞 𝙨𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙘𝙚 𝙚 𝙨𝙞 𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙫𝙖 𝙣𝙚𝙡 𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙤 𝙙𝙞 𝙪𝙣 𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙜𝙞𝙤 𝙙𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚 𝙘𝙤𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙯𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙞 𝙇𝙚𝙜𝙤. Sperimenta l’equilibrio, le possibilità di movimento, il tempo e la velocità. La realtà circostante appare idealmente molto più grande dal suo punto di vista e questo le permette di cogliere dettagli piccolissimi. Nella reale osservazione del luogo che la accoglie e delle persone che si affacciano, nascono spesso immagini e parole inaspettate, mai esplorate che si intrecciano a una partitura coreografica. In questo caso, ciò che per primo coglie l’attenzione, sia esso un colore, una forma, una linea, viene rielaborato e liberato nello spazio attraverso il movimento del corpo che nasce grazie alla capacità associativa e al processo cognitivo, dell’individuo in quanto cittadino ma anche in quanto essere unico.
